Appraisals

We provide two types of appraisals. Informal or verbal appraisals, which are the most common, you will receive an estimated price for an item or group of items. Generally, we do not charge a fee for this if our time investment is less than one hour.

Formal written appraisals are for large collections that require more than an hour. Our appraisal fee of $75/hr is refunded if we buy at least half of the value that we appraised. Formal appraisals can be done at our store or at your chosen location if you prefer a house call. There is never any obligation or pressure to sell. We have developed a large referral network by treating our customers as we would like to be treated – with honesty and integrity.

Grading Services

Coins:We are Authorized Dealers for both PCGS and NGC. We are happy to help our customers in submitting rare coins to either grading service. We can pre-screen, predict grades, give you our professional opinion and take care of the entire process for you. Our fees are modest, mostly to cover the cost of shipping both ways and grading costs.

Paper Money: We buy and sell 3rd-party certified currency and can assist collectors with submissions to PCGS or PMG. We can evaluate and pre-screen your notes, advising the cost-effectiveness of certification, insuring that the cost of certification is worth the expense.
